Dealing with OCD in the Office

A colleague who simply torments his coworkers with extreme attention to detail is a common sight in most workplaces. Well, no one who has a professional bent of mind wants to get away by doing a shoddy job. But there are some colleagues whose fetish with perfection goes to a point where they are a pain in the neck to people around them.
This condition is called, well, you have guessed it: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or the notoriously popular short form of it- OCD. Attention to detail is fine. It is one of the highly regarded qualities an organization looks for in an employee, especially one who works in areas that require this. Yet, there is a difference between being attentive to detail and being obsessive and compulsive with it. A colleague with OCD typically gets down to such minute and acute detail that she wastes a lot of time on this obsession, sadly, at the cost of efficiency.
No matter how natural it may seem to the person who has it, OCD is quite an issue for the colleagues of those who have it, and for the organization itself as a whole. For those with it, it is a condition that is as natural as anything else. Their attention to detail is such that they end up harassing and annoying their colleagues with it.

However, one important fact to bear in mind about people with OCD is that most of those who have it are scarcely aware of the often detrimental effect this behavior has on others. A more interesting fact is that they exhibit this behavior to ward off stress. In most cases, people with OCD don’t realize that the more they resort to this behavior, the more stressed they become. The reason psychologists attribute to this is this: their OCD is some kind of defense against an upcoming stress factor, either real or assumed. Over time, OCD leads to cultivation of dark thoughts in some people.
How does one deal with a colleague who has OCD? This valuable learning can be had from a webinar that Traininng.com, a leading provider of professional training for all the areas of regulatory compliance and human resources, is organizing on June 24. For this course, Traininng.com brings the highly respected author, speaker, EFT practitioner, podcaster and business owner of Focused Healthy Family in Charlotte, NC, Donald Grothoff. Please log on to https://www.traininng.com/webinar/dealing-with-ocd-in-the-office--200891live register for this learning.

Donald will offer the participants of this webinar a clear understanding of what OCD is and what to do when you discover that a colleague or colleagues with whom you work closely has it. This will give them a basic understanding of how to deal with people who have it. This can open up a major avenue for better understanding a colleague with this condition, something that can go a long way in bringing about a harmonious relationship with the person with it. This understanding benefits not only the colleagues concerned, but the organization as a whole.
Getting some understanding of this behavior can help the person with it and with it, the organization, in many ways. Donald will show how to approach this important matter. This suggestion does not include medications, which after all, offer only a temporary respite from certain symptoms associated with OCD. He will show how to understand and handle them with care and with more natural amiability. This is the more certain and effective means of handling colleagues with OCD.
These areas will be covered at this webinar:
o   Basic understanding of how the brain operates
o   OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and its effects on the brain
o   Ways to handle OCD in the office
o   Bonus - Ways to personally handle OCD.
CEO's, office managers, managers, supervisors, owners of businesses, entrepreneurs and employees are some of the personnel that could benefit immensely from this learning.

Rewards and Recognitions that Get You What You Want to Achieve

The information that follows applies to human resources personnel and management at all levels.Rewards and recognitions are the responsibility of all involved in the management and development of employees. My belief is that one size does not fit all and in order to achieve the desired outcomes, both task responsibilities and individual differences must be taken into account. Why You have to Know There are numerous elements that decide an association's arrangement around remuneration, advantages, prizes and acknowledgments. Maybe the absolute first choice that should be made is one of the essential estimations of the organization. Is it going to be an organization dependent on rank and security or one dependent on legitimacy - or a blend of the two? Government offices and association controlled associations as a rule settle on the real choices of remuneration around arrangement, rank and security. So too do numerous associations in the corporate world.Smaller organizations

Introducing The Simple Way To IDENTITY ISSUES In BANKING

Identity theft is one of the foremost issues for the banking industry. It goes without saying, from an observation of any of the patterns that the fraudsters use for theft, that they are smart. They devise innovative ways to circumvent the system. For example, they don’t use their real name, address or social security numbers when logging in. They could also use stolen or vicarious identities, making investigation a lot harder to carry out. The ways of understanding these complexities will be the topic of a 60-minute webinar from Traininng.com, a leading provider of professional training for all the areas of regulatory compliance. At this valuable session, the expert, Jim George, an independent consultant to banks who focuses on issues of fraud, will be introducing the simple way to identity issues in banking. Electronic Payment Fraud Prevention Best Practices

As online and electronic modes of payment increase in their prevalence, it is a lot easier to transact with money matters than it was a few years ago. One doesn’t need to visit a bank or any other financial institution to make these. One can do so from the comfort of one’s own location. But wait a minute. While these improvements in technology have made our tasks easier, they also come with an inevitable side effect: the potential for fraud. Vulnerability is a byproduct of technology. It is almost inseparable from the benefits that technology brings. Not only individuals around the world, but even organizations are at the receiving end of various smart frauds that dot the electronic payment landscape. Ironical as it may sound, companies don’t have the same levels and layers of protection from electronic payment fraud as individuals. They have less than 24 hours to report the fraud, failing which their chances of recovering their lost money reduce dramatically. So, what is the way
