How to Explain Engagement Versus Entitlement to Your Boss

Employee engagement, as we know, is one of the centerpieces of a productive and professional organization. It goes without saying that an engaged workforce is the ultimate contributor to the wellbeing and progress of the organization. Creating an engaged workforce is the task of the organization’s leadership. When leaders are made accountable for creating such a workforce, the effects can be very impactful.
Leaders in the organization are accountable for creating time for their employees and making them feel good and wanted. This is becoming all too rare in today’s organizations, because most leaders are too preoccupied with the business aspects of the organization.

Jared will show the essential difference between engagement and happiness at the workplace. An engaged employee may be a happy employee, but a happiness is a state of mind that is independent of engagement. An employee who is provided some comforts at the workplace, such as say ergonomics or other perks, may be a happy one, but it doesn’t mean that the employee is engaged. Being engaged is a different ballgame, involving as it does a greater say in the organization’s working and business.
Entitlement is another parallel aspect of employee engagement. Entitlement and accountability are two-way streets between leaders and employees. Creating a culture of engagement that is coupled with accountability is the means to align these with each other. At this webinar, the expert will show how to bring accountability and engagement into the day-to-day work in the organization, which will ensure that the organization is one with a thoroughly engaged workforce.
At this session, the speaker will cover the following areas:
  • Discuss the difference between engagement surveys and developing engagement every day
  • Develop a process for focusing on engagement as part of a performance management process
  • Choose an approach for developing accountability with engagement on their teams
  • Sketch out ideas to incorporate engagement growth at the personal, workgroup, team, and department levels

The information that follows applies to human resources personnel and management at all levels.Rewards and recognitions are the responsibility of all involved in the management and development of employees. My belief is that one size does not fit all and in order to achieve the desired outcomes, both task responsibilities and individual differences must be taken into account. Why You have to Know There are numerous elements that decide an association's arrangement around remuneration, advantages, prizes and acknowledgments. Maybe the absolute first choice that should be made is one of the essential estimations of the organization. Is it going to be an organization dependent on rank and security or one dependent on legitimacy - or a blend of the two? Government offices and association controlled associations as a rule settle on the real choices of remuneration around arrangement, rank and security. So too do numerous associations in the corporate world.Smaller organizations

Introducing The Simple Way To IDENTITY ISSUES In BANKING

Identity theft is one of the foremost issues for the banking industry. It goes without saying, from an observation of any of the patterns that the fraudsters use for theft, that they are smart. They devise innovative ways to circumvent the system. For example, they don’t use their real name, address or social security numbers when logging in. They could also use stolen or vicarious identities, making investigation a lot harder to carry out. The ways of understanding these complexities will be the topic of a 60-minute webinar from Traininng.com, a leading provider of professional training for all the areas of regulatory compliance. My! FMLA, ADA and Workers' Comp Overlap Guidance for all Employers

This training program will analyze these three seemingly different bodies of law that often overlap leading to ambiguity and confusion. What are the eligibility/coverage criteria under the FMLA and the ADA/ADAAA and workers comp? When might an extended leave be a reasonable accommodation? When might it be an undue hardship? Undue hardship can mean different things to different employers. If you are in healthcare, pharma, banking and finance, to name a few examples, accommodations of leave requests that may be feasible for many other employers, might, for you, be an undue hardship. If it's not deemed an undue hardship are there steps you can take to mitigate the burden? What are the notice requirements? In this webinar, participants will get answers to these and many other questions. The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requires covered employers to allow eligible employees up to 12 weeks of unpaid job-protected leave and benefits to care for their own or a family member's s
